The Conservative Revolution
I’m excited. We are facing tough economic times but there is a silver lining. Voters are angry and even the status quo politicians are waking up and taking notice. We are finally seeing movement on the conservative agenda I’ve been pushing for years. We are going to change Columbia, restore economic freedom and create jobs across our region.
You’re Scaring The Politicians
There is a lot of fear in Columbia right now and all the incumbents
are scared. I’m glad to see it.
Yes, I’m an incumbent, but I’ve been working for years to change the
way business is done in Columbia. I know everyone is facing tough
times right now but there is a silver lining. The more frustrated
people become, the louder they get. You’ve finally got the
politicians’ attention and for the first time, a lot of the reforms my
conservative teammates and I have been fighting for are finally
getting passed.
This year we passed a spending caps bill to stop the politicians from
wasting our money on pointless projects.
Just a few weeks ago we finally passed the on-the-record voting bill
that stops politicians from voting for massive spending projects in
secret.
We passed a sweeping earmark reform rule that makes politicians put
their names on the spending projects they used to secretively insert
into the budget.
We’ve passed numerous government restructuring bills to make
government more efficient and accountable, including Employment
Security Commission restructuring.
We still have a lot to do, but for the first time in a long time we
finally have real momentum on true conservative reforms. We might be
in the minority, but we have a strong team of conservatives fighting
for you in Columbia. Please keep talking. Get even louder. Yell as
much as you can. The politicians are taking notice and we’re getting
things done.
Today I’m asking for your help. I’ve got opposition and I won’t to
continue my work to change Columbia. Now that we have momentum, we
can’t just stop. We have to keep fighting.
Please click here and donate $100, $50, $20 or whatever you can afford today.
We’re going to change Columbia. And its all because of you.

We Can Change Columbia
Friends-
We are facing tough times and I know that there’s a lot of anger out there. I’m angry too because politicians put us in this situation. They thought they could continue doing the same ole same ole while our economy and the entire world changed. Folks, this is why I’ve been fighting so hard over the past eight years. I could see that the government inefficiencies and wasteful projects were leading us toward trouble.
It doesn’t take a genius to know that you can’t spend more than you make. Yet that’s the Columbia mindset. This problem isn’t limited to Washington. We have it right here in South Carolina too.
I’ve fought for spending caps, more transparency and the government restructuring so desperately needed to make government more accountable.
Finally, now that we’re near rock bottom, the politicians are starting to wake up. They see what’s happening and now our message is finally resonating.
I’m more energized than ever and I’m ready to continue the fight. I hope you’ll consider making a donation today and help me as I face a tough re-election.
People are ready to toss out all the incumbents and truthfully… I can’t say I blame them. Even the good guys are getting caught up in this anti-incumbent environment. I hope you’ll help me as I try to swim against the tide.
Just click here now and donate to my campaign.
Thank you for all your support.
Sincerely,
Thad Viers
